PROGRAMMES TO REDUCE CRIME

This report shows the number and characteristics of programmes which have an objective of crime reduction. It identifies the difficulty of research, and of proving direct causal relationships between a programme and crime reduction. With the difficulties of evaluation on an individual basis the report calls for a national approach. Published May 1999.
