Physical education
Physical education is an occupation both highly rewarding and extremely demanding. It combine considerable physical demands with all the commitment, patience and skill required of an academic teacher. In addition to teaching in schools, qualified physical education teachers often find work in sports centres and private sports clubs.
The most common route to teaching PE is to read for a B.Ed (Hons) degree in physical education at university. Following training all teachers must complete an "on the job" probationary period.
