Granwax floor sealant - request for information

ISRM have been asked to assist a member with a particular problem they are experiencing in the facility, in particular the sports hall floor surfaces. Annually the floor surfaces are treated with Grancleanse and then Granguard polyurethane floor sealant, and have never experienced any problems with this process.

However, this year the floor surface seems to be blistering and peeling off, very similar to the way sunburnt skin would peel. The operator has spoken to Granwax, the company supplying the products who are not able to offer any explanation other than it must be due to the application of the product.

ISRM would be interested to know if any other facilities have experienced similar problems with this products over the last year and if so how was it addressed.
