Sport and anti-social behaviour

Talk about the power of sport! Sport and physical activity can contribute to the prevention of crime, reduce anti-social behaviour and improve relationships between people of different racial, cultural and religious communities. Involvement in sport and physical activity can result in greater community ownership and care of local facilities and resources and it can also build capacity, skills and confidence within communities which enable them to tackle wider community anti-social behaviour issues.

This seminar will consider the valuable role that sport can play in bringing about changes in behaviour.
