ISRM headquarters - accessibility statement

ISRM's headquarters, and the venue for many of its SportExcel CPD seminars, is the Sir John Beckwith Centre for Sport, located in the East Park area of Loughborough University.

Parking

Please ask for directions to the Beckwith Building at the security gatehouse. You will be given a visitor's parking permit which must be displayed.

The Beckwith building has several car parks located close to it. In addition, there are two parking spaces immediately adjacent to the building which are reserved for use by people with disabilities. Other car parks have at least one such space. Please be aware that the University carefully polices the use of reserved parking spaces and you will need to display an appropriate disability parking permit as you would on a normal street.

General facilities

All floors of the Beckwith building are accessible by lift. There are fully accessible toilets located on each floor of the building. All toilets are marked with Braille signs.

Induction loop

If you are attending a SportExcel seminar in the lecture theatre, this space is equipped with an induction loop system. Please indicate on your event booking form if you will require this.

Dietary requirements

ISRM is able to cater for most dietary requirements, if appropriate notice is given. These include: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, wheat allergy, nut allergy. Please indicate on your booking form if you have any special dietary requirements.
